Q. What services are provided by Impact Employee Benefits Solutions?

A. The range of services include wellness programs, credit-style cafeteria plan design and communication, group insurance brokerage, self funded plan management, investment services as well as vendor management of all services necessary to deliver a comprehensive, cost-effective benefit solution.

Q. How do you distinguish yourself from the competition?

A. The strength of our model consists of bringing in creative solutions to employers who are looking to control the costs of their benefit programs without creating any reduction in the benefit perception to the employees.

Too often a majority of brokers are willing to help continue the “status quo” mindset in the industry vs. promote real change. Many brokers are caught in a conflict of interest between controlling health plan costs and reducing commissions. Impact Employee Benefits Solutions is focused on designing customized solutions for each of our clients that reflects THEIR individual needs.

Our goal is become the nationally recognized leader in our industry. We are committed to maintaining a profitable organization by proving to our customers that we are dedicated resource to them and are invaluable in helping them achieve their own organizational goals.

Q. Do you have a particular methodology you use in your approach to consulting?

A. Our methodology is to first determine what it is you specifically want to achieve. By listening to your objectives and goals, we then begin to develop a customized model for your organization. We would then look at current marketplace factors, government guidelines and technological advancements in order to create a customized recommendation that meets your goals.

 

“The rising cost of healthcare has for a long time been an issue with our company. A few years ago, we attended a seminar with Pat Reilly as the instructor. Pat talked about different options for companies to help control this cost. He understood, unlike no other broker we have had in the past, the business as well as the employee side of healthcare issues. Pat has been our broker since February 2005, and along with Christine Price from New Era Benefits we made changes in the structure of our benefit plan to best suit our business needs as well as the needs of our employees. 

The first year was a learning experience; with the help of Christine Price and Pat we made changes that were benefiting the company as well as the employees. The biggest part of this was teaching the employees not to take the insurance for granted. They needed to learn how to be a healthcare consumer.

We are in our third year; the savings have been an average of 19 % over the conservatively calculated cost if we would have stayed with our former Health Insurance Provider.”
